My name is Billy Forney III.  I am a native Houstonian, a graduate of Rice University, a husband to an incredible wife, and father to three beautiful children.  I am the managing partner of Palace Social, the rejuvenation of the former Palace Bowling Lanes on Bellaire Boulevard in Houston, TX with an estimated opening in spring 2021.

I am a self-described weather nut.  I am a Houston/Galveston area trained SKYWARN spotter, and I am the local area coordinator for Harris County, TX (Houston area) for CoCoRaHS.

I am not a meteorologist by education, and I don’t (usually) pretend to know as much as one.  But, I love the weather.  I love sharing facts and figures about the weather.

I live and love Texas.  But, since home is in Houston, most of the facts and figures I plan to share on this blog will be focused on Houston and surrounding areas of southeast Texas.
